Seagull Fittings – distribution of stainless steel fittings and pipeline connections

Seagull Fittings Limited was formed in 1993 in the West Midlands to incorporate our two trading divisions, Seagull Stainless; a UK supplier of industrial stainless steel valves, fittings and pipeline connections since 1974 – and Tophose Hydraulics; a global distributor of Aeroquip high-pressure hose assemblies and stainless piping and fittings. Today, Tophose remains an original Premier distributor of the Eaton-Aeroquip global network.

Originally, the two trading divisions were part of Major Fluid Power (MFP) Limited, specialists in pneumatics and fluid power systems. In 1993, two Directors of MFP bought the Seagull Stainless and Tophose Hydraulics divisions and formed Seagull Fittings Ltd from their base in Birmingham’s Jewellery Quarter district. Seagull continued to prosper in the UK and international trade-supply of industrial fittings and within 3 years, had relocated just outside Birmingham, to their current premises in West Bromwich – the industrial heartland of England – adjacent to junction 1 of the M5 motorway.

Seagull Fittings is now an international distributor of industrial steel fittings, valves, hose, tube, pipe, and connectors in carbon and stainless steels, brass and other alloys. We supply trade re-sale stockists and OEM’s around the world; including oil and gas companies, train, car and truck manufacturers, metal and food processors, breweries, the semi-conductor industry and service and maintenance companies.
